mmmmaaaakkkkeeeecccciiiiddddrrrreeeessss creates PostScript CID language resource database
file that reflects the current state of a system's CID
resources. This file is used to specify the location CID
resources like CID support libraries, CID fonts and CID
maps. In an SGI system, this file is stored as
/usr/lib/DPS/CID.upr.
OOOOPPPPTTTTIIIIOOOONNNNSSSS
----oooo _f_i_l_e_n_a_m_e
Writes the output to the specified filename. If this
option is not speficied, then the output is written to
/usr/lib/DPS/CID.upr.
----ffff _d_i_r_e_c_t_o_r_i_e_s
Set alternate directories of CID fonts and CID maps.
The program searches for directories named: "CIDFont"
and "CMap" and any files under these directories will
be identified as CID resources. Directories are
seperated by a single ':'. If this option is not
specified, then the directory to be searched is
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID
----rrrr _d_i_r_e_c_t_o_r_y
Specify root.

Creates or overwrites /usr/lib/DPS/CID.upr that reflect
the current state of CID resources found in
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID. This default is sufficient to
set a correct and up-to-date CID resource file for an
SGI system.

Creates or overwrites /usr/lib/DPS/CID.upr that reflect
the current state of CID resources found in both
/usr/lib/X11 and /usr/people/my_home. Note that the
default location (/usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID) is not
searched.

This utility will search for directories named "CIDFont" and
"CMap" no more than 2 directory levels away from the
specified (either by -f or the default search path:
/usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID) search directory.
Any files that are found directly under the "CIDFont" and
"CMap" directories are included as CID resources. makecidres
makes no attempt to verify them.
